it's bacically about a girl named cindy who skipps school alot, has a mother who she thinks doesnt love her and her boyfriend who calles her ugly and makes her feel insecure.with all this happening she just wants someone to love her ergo "someone to love me"
I bought this to read to my 7th graders. I teach in an urban setting and this book really spoke to them and we all loved it. We are reading many in the Bluford series.
